I LOVE it. I have a big kitchen garden on my terrace with herbs, lettuces, spinach, and green onions. I also have a trellice out there with indeterminate tomatoes, pole beans, zucchini and vining flowers.
In addition, I have a 29x15' garden plot. We just put in cucumbers and melons this morning, as well as planting a bunch of onions. I've just waiting for some additional potatoes and sweet potatoes to sprout in my windowsill and them those will go in the ground too. I've already planted sunflowers (large and small), cosmos, zinnias, honeywart, blue/purple/red potatoes, pumpkins, bush tomatoes, basil, tomatillos, hot peppers, bell peppers, carrots, eggplant. broccoli, cabbage and peas, as well as assorted greens and herbs.
I am hoping that the weather in the PNW warms up just a bit soon and then I will plant corn. When the corn gets about 6" high I will add more beans and pumpkins in that plot...going to try the three sisters method for the first time this year!

I love gardening. I plant as many vegetables on my apartment balcony as I can. This year, I am also volunteering with a group that grows and sells vegetables to support charity.

I spent two hours gardening this morning. I just love playing in the dirt.
