I'm eating healthy and exercising for my health. I'm also trying to reduce some of the belly fat I've gained since entering the menopause stage of my life by dropping 8-10 lbs. I used to be able to lose easily but now that I'm over 50 it's a lot harder. If my body fights me on this, I'll accept my body the way it is in the stage of my life and continue working on a healthier lifestyle.

I want to look fit and feel good--but I recently got re-motivated about 2 months before I knew I was going back home for a visit. My sister and best friend have been getting healthier and I felt it was time I got back on track with my weight loss goals.

To be more myself. I was a healthy weight at one time but not healthy. I hope to get back there by getting healthier. I can then do things I want to do like be more active and not put as much stress on my joints, improve my overall health. I don't feel very good or like the person I used to be. I want to feel like I can do anything.

I have been stuck at a plateau for longer than I would like to admit here. I need motivational reasons to lose weight. I know I need to lose weight, for example, because I have GERD, and losing inches around the belly reduces that problem. I'm hoping you can give me some insight into the issues that push you to stay on track.
