Our motorcycle club has their annual party and I am dressing up like a girl from the 80's with big hair and all. Looking foward to it. The silly games and all. I am christian too but it's about having fun and being silly.

this will be a very different year, my son is now 16 yrs old and won't be going out this year and it's going to feel a bit sad..... I remember bringing him out that first time and in my mind I can see him in all of his costumes and now I guess I have to look forward to the day when he has his own kids to come see grandma and grandpa and hopefully that won't be for a very long time hahahaha seeing he's only 16 yrs old. I guess we'll hand out candy but part of me is so sad, my baby is all grown up! No more batman, tigger, spiderman costumes....

Yes...we dress up and trick or treat with the kids. We also go to a local YMCA Halloween party most years.

I don't "celebrate" Halloween but I do dress up and help pass out candy and Bible tracks at our church Halloween outdoor warm-up with hot choc., coffee, hot apple cider, use the potty and warm up by the fire event. What a great opportunity to reach out! I enjoy it so much!

Halloween for the family - my husband passes out the treats while I take the kids around the neighborhood for Beggar's Night. I've vowed not to buy candy until the day of Halloween (stores NEVER run out of candy) just so it's not in the house.
I usually wear a wig or a witch's hat and a little bit of face paint to walk around the neighborhood, as the kids dress up. This year my daughter is going to be a Michael Jackson "Thriller" zombie as I have the vintage leather "Thriller" coat for her to wear (I grew up in the 80's). Should be fun!

Halloween is probably my favorite holiday of the year. I love to dress up and be somebody totally crazy for a day. This year I plan on being Professor Farnsworth from the cartoon Futurama.
My goal is to celebrate The Day of the Dead this year, as well, with some traditional food/dance/customs. I'll probably paint my face =)
This time of year always makes me feel like a young kid full of life.

I used to be totally into Halloween. I think I stopped getting into as I got heavier and felt like the only costume I could wear would be a pupmkin. I'm starting to get excited about it again, I'm only concerned about having trick-or-treat goodies in the house.

Do you celebrate Halloween? Dia de los Muertos? Fall Festival? Something else or nothing?
How do you celebrate? Any plans? What traditions do you do?
