I would love am answer on this too... Because on WW you can either apply their exercise points to either a calorie deficit, or use them to offset calories consumed. I did really well by "earning" treats through exercise... Helped stop that mindless eating, because who wants to exercise off a family size bag of chips? And do you feel like eating a family size bag of chips after a good exercise session?

When I was on the Daily Plate a few years ago, they subtracted calories burned from calories consumed, giving you a net calorie amount.

Is there a reason Spark People doesn't do this? Is it something I should count on in my head, or does that principle not actually work?
