I am Soooo glad to hear I am not the only one who deals with cravings!
Thanks so much for your support! I also liked the other entrances for the topic of discussing cravings emoticon

For me it's those delicious, thick-cut, spicy flavored potato chips like Miss Vickie's Jalapeno or Lay's Kettle flavored that are so difficult to resist. I try to limit intake to 10; however some are so small that they don't really count or so I say! emoticon

I get chocolate cravings frequently - I switched over to Chocolate Donut flavored coffee to help when I'm really down. I still get the smell and taste without actually eating the donut

Thanks to all for your great ideas. I am glad I can talk about cravings and not worry about
it and I'll think about journal writing, I am a bit busy these days.

The fewer carbs you eat the fewer cravings you will have. And don't burn candles that smell like cake. (I have several and dang they make you hungry!)

Exercise also stops cravings.

Yes! Definitely share with us. I know I struggle with cravings, too.

Sometimes a little note in a journal helps me, too. For example, "3:30 p.m.: I wanted a couple ______and opted for a _____ instead. I felt_______" OR "3:30 p.m.: I had cravings for _____. I counted out ____ calories worth and stopped there. I felt..."

I know it can be a little corny, but seeing my struggles on paper, with the actions I took and how I felt, can be good, too.

Good luck and we're here for you!

My husband and I both have been dieting so when I start sharing my thoughts such as
(ever notice how good food looks on the commercials) Or (I wish there was ice cream in
the house) You get the basic idea, right? Well, it drives him crazy, meaning he is doing well
until I start "sharing my feelings" so is this something I can do here? Nice to have someone
to talk to and not make them think about eating, etc.
Any thoughts are appreciated!
