I have big problems with motivation, too. And I am also a diagnosed sugar addict. My doctor isn't a lot of help either, her answer is "stay below 1200 calories and exercise every day". I took phentermine for 3 months, but my body got used to it and it quit working. Now I have put 1/2 of the weight back on. But I'm not giving up. Some day it will all click and I will succeed, and so will you.

Don´t give up and don´t cut of sugars completely out of your diet. Once I tried to do this and developed such sugar cravings that I ate a whole cake at once. Then I gradually introduced a little sugar into my diet and the cravings have gone. Good luck with your diet and a lot of success in your new marriage!

I just can't stay motivated and I am craving sugar/ chocolate all day. I know this is not the end of the world, but I do have a food addiction (literal, diagnosis) and need to figure out my emotional difficulties. I am just frustrated in myself because I need to get my emotions in check, and I don't know if I am just trying not to face something. I am getting married in 36 days, and am hoping it is just nerves. I am really excited and happy about the upcoming wedding, but have been divorced before and I want to be a better wife this time. Not that I was a horrible wife before. I went through a lot of bad stuff with the ex, and suffer from PTSD because of it.
