Last time we had friends/kids over that is what we did and eveyone was happy. Make beef taco meat and chicken taco meat. Get plenty of toppings, salsa, low fat sour cream, low fat cheese, chopped tomato, onions and get some avocados too. We also got hard taco shells and soft tortilla's ( you can buy low fat ones )
Make your own bean dip and serve with fat free Tostito's and cut up veggies !!
1 (15 ounce) can black beans -drained, rinsed and dried off 1/2 cup fat-free Miracle Whip 1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro 1 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1 dash hot pepper sauce, or to taste 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon salt 1/4 cup picante sauce or salsa
In a mixing bowl, mash the beans with a fork or place in a blender .
Combine the rest of the ingredients and blend well.
Serve warm or cold with tortilla chips/cut up veggies/low fat crackers
How about wings, mini meatballs, or sliders? Handheld or toothpicks only.

I've been informed that we are having people over tomorrow. (Nice heads up, right?) So I'm trying to come up with a menu that is easy to make, healthy(ish) and good. I also need something that is easy to eat sine almost everyone will be eating around the TV/PS3 and there will be kids running around. We did chilli last time and pizza the time before that. Anyone have any ideas?
