I use digital BUT I think that as long as you use the same one you will get an accurate weight loss. Even if it's always 4 lbs (kgs) off. Good Luck.

I use an old fashioned scale. I tried a digital once but every time I stepped on it, it would say a different weight so I returned it. The one I have now is very large with very large numbers.

a scale's a scale... they're not very accurate...just ball park.
I quit using mine at home and now use the tried and true non-digital one at the gym. I trust it more than my digitals.

We've had one from Tanita for a few years now. The readings seem to be pretty close to when I've been weighed at the doctor, if that helps. It also does body fat % but I don't know the accuracy of that since I've never had that tested with any other method.
