You have to think of food, not as... if I eat this and restrict that, I'll lose more weight because quite honestly it's more about the calorie deficit you create than your food choices.

You have to lean to look at food as which foods will help keep my body satisfied throughout the day so I'm less likely to make unhealthier food choices or overeat as well as which foods are going to help me reach my recommended macronutrient, vitamin and mineral intake.

I swear I eat better food now than I ever did when I was overweight and I enjoy eating more than when I was overweight, weird huh? Because I experiment with healthier, homemade recipes. I try new things all the time. I still have the foods I love but I fit them into my calorie range *after* I've met all my daily recommended values. I don't see a problem with adding chocolate chips to my oatmeal or having a baked good I made with reduced sugar and white flour. Every single meal I eat, every single food I eat is an indulgence.

I don't look at the foods I eat as a "diet to help lose weight". I look at them as food I love to eat and food that is healthy for my body. I eat whatever I feel like eating but modify it to be healthier and more balanced.

when you come to realize that it is a life style change and not a diet........then and only then will you want to change things. Diets don't work........We all go on a diet and when we are done we go back to all our bad eating habits. Use all that sparks has to offer and you will have success............Go get this........

I am with all who told you to stop dieting. It is futile!!! Start a healthy eating plan that you can live with for the rest of your life. Nothing is off limits as long as you track everything. Soon, you will begin to make healthier choices and you will realize that you can have a treat once in a while. I wish you the very best. I know it is not easy, but once you start, it becomes easier as you go along.

Change your relationship with food and get off the roller coaster of diets. And definitely stop the cleanses. They obviously don't work, as you've seen for yourself, and will do more harm than good.

Stop with fad diets. If you're interested in making healthier decisions, stock your refrigerator with nothing but healthy things, stop eating when you're full, and throw out the overprocessed garbage. Prepare your own meals, track everything that you're putting into your mouth, and do NOT use those cleanses anymore--they rid your body of water, which does nothing but hurt you in the long run.

Stop looking for the quick fix. Sparkpeople does not recommend cleanses. They can be dangerous.

Start tracking what you eat using the Nutrition Tracker and how much you exercise using the Fitness Tracker. There's only one weight loss formula that works. Eat Less + Exercise More.
