I think I can do that too - I don't usually jump into challenges but I am really gung ho right now and I might be able to do 10 in March. I will work at this one too.

I'm in for the 10 lb. challenge. Because I am diabetic I will stay with my nutrition plan but wll up the exercise: 10,000 steps per day plus more cardio and strength exercises. I've only lost 8 lbs. total since starting SP on 2/7/13 so I need a little push.

Future: You and me both! Lost a lot in January, then a 1/2 pound in February, despite devoted efforts. So decided to switch things up. For one thing, I'm walking in place of the step aerobics. We will see how that works. And cut my calories by 300 per day. Weighed this morning and lost a pound!

I'm in!! I lost quite a bit in .jan but only a few in February working just as hard and eating just as healthy....I've hit a plateau that I'm frustrated with so I'm praying to lose 10lbs along with hard work and healthy choices! Weigh in today at 163. Plan to be 153 on April fools day....even if Easter dinner is th day before, lol!
I am 200 pounds of lard, so it might work for me....but for those with relatively little to lose, they will likely be fortunate to lose 5 pounds. I meant to check to see if March has 5 weeks.

So proud of you guys for setting a goal! Just do be aware that the less you have to lose, the slower you have to lose it; I know some of you here are showing less to lose on your tickers. If you're over 200 lbs, losing 2 lbs per week is doable and safe... but if you're 30 lbs or less to go to your goal, it's not going to be safe, feasible, nor healthy for you to do so.
A good rule of thumb is that you can attempt to lose about 3% of your remaining goal per week... so if you're a bit too small to pull of 10 lbs in march, adjust your goal to something attainable!
Okay girls....March 1 is just hours away. I'll be weighing in in the morning...and I am determined to lose 10 pounds in March. I lost 10 in January, then only a pound or so in February, which was odd, but did lose 1/2 inch in my waist in February, and an inch in my bust and an inch in my hips. I am going to switch up my exercise for March....going to walk two miles in the morning and two miles in the evening. (did low impact aerobics in January and February). Also some strength training with hand weights. Going to switch up my eating plan a little for March also. Let me clarify that I see my endocronologist every three months and they run full lab work and I take a wide array of supplements, and get plenty of protein. Don't want anyone to think I am not being safe. My motivation for wanting to lose weight faster than perhaps some would like is this: I need to fit into my MOB dress for a June wedding. It is a size and a half too small. Good Luck!

KessTrunk, lets weigh in Friday morning (March 1) and start our March plan that very minute. I'll have to eat less calories than my recommended range in order to lose ten pounds in March...so the nutrition coaches will have to forgive me. And I'll have to really be faithful to the March exercise plan too.
So are we counting down to the first weigh in? I'll put mine up on March 1st, and then y'all can help me meet the goal!

You can certainly do it! That is how much I would like to lose too in March, but I am trying to focus more on healthy lifestyle choices than stressing over the weight loss right now, trying to not repeat the mistakes of the past. Good luck to all of you!

I have a plan to lose the 10 pounds in March and I wrote it down. It entails walking 4 miles a day (two in the morning and two in the evening). It entails less calories than I consumed in February.. I can't tell how many, because I'll get fussed at. LOL.
