Hey hang in there. Life throws us lots of shocking surprises but you'll think differently about it looking back from a few years from now.

Sounds like you are starting to adjust to the idea. Sometimes life has a way of throwing us curveballs that we just have to respond to. This little one will be a blessing. Congrats on your plans to continue with school and switch to online classes. Good luck!

We're definitely adjusting to the idea. We've had to cancel our house hunt for now and start stockpiling money instead of snowballing our debt as we have been doing so that's going to be an adjustment. I'm going to continue to go to school as planned for as long as I can and then go to online classes when I can't go anymore.

I know. It's better to get the tubes tied. It can be so tough when you get pregnant and you're not expecting it especially in a case like yours where your IUD failed. Perhaps the child is God sent. That's what I tell myself sometimes. :)

Provided everything is okay and it's not ectopic, we'll keep the baby. It was just such a shock. I'm definitely getting my tubes tied though! :P

Oh dear. Are you planning on keeping the baby? Things will get better. Try to look at the brighter side of things. I had an accidental pregnancy too. When my first daughter was just 7 months. I decided to keep the baby. They are just 16 months apart. And my 2 daughters are the best of friends. I don't regret keeping the baby. In fact it has been the best decision. The two of them keep each other company. And 2 is enough for us. We're done. :) Hope that cheers you up a little.

It seems that the "fat" I've been noticing that made me uncomfortable was for a reason. My IUD failed. I'm 4 weeks pregnant. My baby is only 6 months old. I am in total shock right now. We definitely are not ready for a second baby. We were still adjusting to life with one! We go on Wednesday for an ultrasound to make sure we're not ectopic. I seriously don't know whether to laugh at the irony or cry.
