Denise Austin is obviously not as popular as she once was! lol. Back about a bazillion years ago, she was a very popular fitness instructor. She's done a bunch of exercise dvd's and also written books on diet and exercise, and was on the President's Council for Physical Fitness (or something called something similar, I don't remember exactly.) They say the mind is the first thing to go. Whatever.

Used to be, there weren't anywhere near as many different people making exercise videos like there are now. Used to be, there wasn't youtube and all the exercise stuff on there. Used to be, there wasn't SparkPeople and infomercials and all that. So Denise Austin was a big name in the fitness videos.

Most younger people would only know her from her Idaho Potatoes commercials on tv. Pretty blond lady. Anyway, she's been at the fitness thing for maybe 30 years. And she still looks really good, at 55.

I think the important thing to remember is that you don't wake up at 55 and say to yourself, wow I want to look like her, in 90 days. She's been at it for years. Doesn't mean you can't improve your fitness though.
