Thanks Becky I have really had good luck with this as long as I stick with it. My blood pressure has gone done and my cholesteral has dropped by 64 points in the last 3 month. I have also lost 23lbs total.

My MIL started the weight loss version of DASH diet this week. I follow a different diet that is similar.

I have had really good luck with this I have lost 20lbs since mid March my blood pressure is down and my total cholesterol is down 64 points and I have never felt better.

I have spent the weekend researching it and I am going to probably start it after my Dr appointment Wednesday. I don't have high blood pressure but I am overweight and I think that preventative is better than waiting, besides the hubs has high blood pressure and if I cook for both of us, it will benefit him as well.

I know there are other boards about this diet but I wanted to find out if there is anybody on this right now I am just about done with my first week and I really feel good. I am using Dash Diet for Weight Loss Solution and I have lost 3 pounds in 4 days. I feel like moving again and I think if you get into the mindset that you need to eat like this because this is what is fueling your body to do the things you want to be able to do it makes it alot easier. The first 2 wks of this version is about resetting your metabolism and I haven't had to much problem sticking with it. It has made me fee so much better. So how has anybody else been doing with it?
