I substitute cheese with nutritional yeast. I also use unsweetened almond milk instead of dairy milk

I have found several entries for unsweetened almond milk--I buy Almond Breeze.
If there is no entry for the type that you buy, you can always enter the brand manually. There is a link on the Food Tracker page for "entering a food not listed" that will help you there.

A lot of alternative milks are naturally deficient in protein and calcium, so you might want to check that the nutrition label. I use Soy Milk because I am dairy food intolerant, but can still eat yoghurt and cheese. They don't affect most people with diary food intolerance (as opposed to allergy!)
My little g/son has a soy cheese, and I quite like it. It tastes much the same as real cheese but is loads more expensive.
I drink orginal rice milk...I believe it goes by dream rice drink. I can't drink milk nor soy milk. I haven't tried it but I've been told that people who can't have dairy can drink goat's milk or eat goat's cheese. As for butter there is coconut butter. I use a palm oil vegetable spread in place of butter in crusts...any time you have to 'cut in' butter. It works well.

Since I am just starting this program, I am wondering why besides Soy Milk, that there isn't a choice for Unsweetened Almond Milk. That is my preference, since I do have dairy issues.
Also, what can be substituted for cheese or any dairy for that matter?
