I really need to get more water in my day. Starting today, I challenge myself to get my water in. Water is good for more than just weight loss, it has so many other health benefits. It's nature's cheapest way to fight signs of agiing. I think our bodies are made up of something like 80% water, so it only makes sense that we fill up with water to keep us from getting dry and wrinkly.

I start and end my day with . I also drink 2 .05 liters of with every meal. that's already my eight .5 liters and I also drink throughout the day when I crave something to eat or drink. All of my consumption does not include additives, nothing added!

I also keep water at hand and sip all day. Sometimes I add lemon or lime but mostly drink it plain. In the summer I crave cold water and its easier for me to drink. When its cold out I am more challenged to get in my goal of 8 to 12 glasses a day. Used to strive for a gallon but as I get older I find that harder to do.
I try to constantly keep my water bottle with me throughout the day and take sips here and there. When I think about all 8 cups at once, it gets a little over whelming for me.

I agree that you need to listen to your body! I usually drink 8 or 9 cups of water a day, but if I drink them to close together I feel so bloated and just plain yucky. I space them out and find that I have no problem getting the recommended amount and don't get upset with myself if I don't get all of that.

I agree, but that's the point, listen to what your body needs, not follow an instruction just because someone says it's true, just because Everyone else says yes like sheep.

I buy the gallon waters 128floz and aim to drink half a day, though most days I drink the whole thing now!I keep it next to me all the time while at home, I feel like you drink more at once out of it, I don't know it's weird lol. When I leave the house I grab a bottled water......To the last poster, I feel like crap if I don't drink a lot of water. I was over eating and tired all the time, I started tracking my water intake and it was exactly what I needed. There are many studies that are for water as well, basically you can find anything you want no matter which you believe, lol. Water is proven to increase your metabolism up to 30% and is also proven to slow your metabolism when you are not well hydrated. Studies will show anything when they are done by someone who is already looking for that answer. Trust me, it's with anything. I go by how my body feels, as should everyone else.........

Every time I go to Walmart I pick up one or two of those flavor squirts. I don't like really sweet, so a little squirt is perfect to had a different taste. I buy a six pack of Zephyrhills sport bottles and fix 3 every night. I drink a mug of coffee when I wake up and then grab those throughout the day. After i've drank the three I treat myself with a flavored sparkling water (to me, they're better than soda). My favorite is APPLE ICE WATER.
