I've noticed that over the last two months. The first two weeks in June, I lost no weight at all. Then I lost 8 pounds over the second two weeks of the month. I lost only 1.5 pounds in the first two weeks of July, and 7.5 pounds in the last two weeks of the month. I wonder if August will follow the pattern?

Same deal for me, though I can't actually put a good time frame to it.
When I very first started, I lost inches but didn't lose any weight for 8 whole weeks. Suddenly in week 9 I lost 5 pounds and after that averaged 2 pounds a week for a couple months. Then I maintained over the holidays when I wasn't tracking, and on starting tracking again held my weight for a month, saw a 3 lb loss one day, and have averaged 1 lb a week since then.
Bodies are weird, LOL.
Do something everyday that your future self will thank you for.
In the past, I have, it's different this time. But I used to gain about 2 lbs and then have a few weeks of steady losses, then gain, then lose for weeks.
I wish I could get back to that, although I'm starting to be much more steady in my weight loss now.

I experienced something similar when I was still losing. I would go for 2-3 weeks without weight loss and then wake up one morning 3 lbs down. That 3 lbs would then stay off. This cycle continued for many months. It happened too many times to just be some daily weigh-in variation. I am not sure why that happens.
I lost a lot of weight and maintained it for years, then I got all stressed and busy and lost my way. Starting over from a much better place (way less to lose this time!) and making things better.

And no, I'm not talking about my menstrual cycle here. LOL
After a year of Sparking this time, I have noticed a pattern with my weight loss and wondering if this happens to anyone else. Seems like no matter how consistent I am (and since I love how I feel when I eat clean and exercise, this isn't an issue of motivation or deprivation), it seems as if my body always needs to think about letting go of the weight for 2-4 weeks and then give me another 2-4 weeks of good losses. For the month of June, I lost very little, just a few pounds. But July was almost 10 lbs down. This seems to have been my pattern for most of the past year. Anyone else?
