One of the Maximized living doctors I follow on facebook posts crossfit regimes mixed with surges. They are pretty tough, leave me breathless for the 5 minutes it takes me to recover and feeling awesome a few minutes later.

I'm also starting CrossFit this month. I am planning on doing it 2x a week and also doing my own cardio as well as BodyRock workouts on days I'm not doing CrossFit. I might work up to 3x a week but I don't want to over do it to start.
I've been Crossfitting for a year now. I would recommend it to anyone really, at least give it a try. The great thing is there are modifications for just about everything we do so you can scale each workout to your fitness level. Try it out!! Usually CF offers a first day free trial, that's all it took for me and i was hooked!!

I am thinking of signing up for Crossfit. The gym here has it at 5:15am and 7pm M-F and 10am on Sat.
Has anyone that's done this have any recommendations as to how often? Any tips or tricks?
