I agree - the best place to start is with an organisation offering crossfit in your area. You can't just pick it up and do it yourself at home. That would be dangerous.

Its best to learn all of the techniques from a licensed trainer because without proper form, there is serious potential to hurt yourself. That being said, Crossfit is a ton of fun and a great workout.
