I finally managed to fix it last night. I had to snip a lot off and work the stitches in, but the mistake has been fixed. I can now continue with the rest of it.

I'm happier now! But of course, it would have been better if there had been no mistake in the first place, but I don't think the joins are that noticeable bcoz I sniped off the excess lengths! :)

I crochet, and I get frustrated with myself when I make mistakes like that too. I agree, that best thing is to put it aside and work on it again when you feel calmer, that is what I do.

I am so mad & stressed now!! I only discovered my mistake when I was doing the next row. Then when I was undoing the motif, I went and sniped another motif by mistake bcoz it was so difficult to unravel bcoz it was knotted! So now I have to fix 2 motifs instead of 1! Gah!!!

I can't do it now bcoz atm I feel like ripping it! I'll do it later when I'm calmer! It's a pretty lace shawl btw.
