if you read enough posts, you'll find you're not alone in the cravings department.
Everybody seems to have one sort or another.

Keep making good choices, and occasionally allow a specific item as part of your menu - deprivation often makes you crave them more; and binge when given the opportunity.

The cravings WILL diminish, usually within a period of time (I cannot guarantee the exact time, as it's different for everyone).

Keep going.

Cravings diminish in time. Give it at least 2 weeks. We dolive in a world full of temptation. Good luck to you.

when I first started dieting the first and only "rule" I've set and always maintained was to ban fast food from my diet. After a few weeks I never thought about it again. I now haven't had fast food since 2006.

Doesn't mean I don't gain weight through other means but nothing good comes of fast food restaurants lol and now if i want to eat hamburger and fries then I'm going to have to pay the extra money and a nicer place to get them... which I don't feel like paying for very often!

I have a bigger problem with sweet cravings, of which i just recently discovered that eating a some fruit after ever meal, even when I don't think I want it has killed a lot of those cravings!

good luck, stick with it!!!!

Lol thanks Rebecca. My boyfriend took me out for lunch and even there I ordered something healthier than what I'd usually order.

It does get easier and the cravings do lessen and fade away. You are doing the smart thing by taking pride in your self mastery and deleting the junk food.
Stay strong!!

I've only just started my new healthier lifestyle and I'm only one week in. The past few days I've been craving junk food so badly, pizzas, burgers, mcdonalds. That's mostly thanks to tv ads! But I'm proud of myself for staying motivated and not caving in. I've not had them though I've reaaaaally wanted them! I just remembered how bloated, full and fat those few seconds of taste would make me feel. I thought about how good I've felt this week and how losing those 2 lbs makes me feel like this is worth it!

It's hard, but no one ever said it would be easy!
