I use both Atkins shakes and whey protein powders. I do buy some of the pre-flavored versions, but I've found the variety is a lot better when I just get the vanilla and add some sugar-free DaVinci syrup. I can get any kind of flavor I want - especially ones you can't typically get pre-flavored shakes in. Banana, blueberry, pancake syrup!, butter rum... german chocolate, praline, pumpkin pie yummies!

I haven't tried Torani syrups, but I see some people like them. I'm so happy with the DaVinci, I can't imagine switching.

If you have to cover up the taste, why are you eating it? Don't eat food that you don't like.

Adding more fruit to something that doesn't taste good just means that you're wasting good fruit. Better to ditch the thing that tastes bad and just eat the fruit!

Most stores will take it back and refund your money even if you've used a little. Get yourself a refund and use it to buy something that doesn't taste bad. If they won't refund you, throw it away or find someplace to donate it (and don't shop at that store any more.)

add a spoonful of cocoa powder not much calories... lots of antioxidants, strawberry chocolate tastes good.

Straight vanilla or chocolate extracts, or blend with regular or decaf coffee instead of water. There is also a brewable cocoa "coffee" made of crushed cocoa nibs that when you make in a French press, gives a lot of chocolate taste brewed with water.

fat free sugar free instant jello pudding mix works well if you also add some skim milk

Any fruit: fresh, frozen, or canned: peaches, pineapple, cherries, etc.

Hi All,

I've been doing my own shake meal replacement with Natures Way Metabolic Reset and I enjoy the chocolate and vanilla flavors, but I just got the strawberry and its OK but was wondering what I could use to help cover up the flavor. Any suggestions??

Today I put banana and sf coconut milk.
