I work at a 300 bed hospital as a Respiratory Therapist. Most nights I am walking 9-10 miles during a 12 hour shift. On a really slow night it is 5 miles. The other night one shift was 20 miles. I know that some people count and some don't... what do you do? What should I do? I don't want to create such a deficit in my food intake that I send my body into starvation mode but I also don't want to overcompensate.
