good 4 U.......I only weigh myself once every other month. I use my workouts, how my clothes fit and how healthy I eat as my measurements of how well I am doing. Sounds like your plan is a good one. Go get this..............

There are many ways to check progress and implement accountability.

Im throwing out my scale. My goal starting here was to lose weight...its still a goal...but I have managed to lower my sodium intake to 1200 mg a day, am in healthy ranges for cholesterol and eating within the 50/30/20 framework provided at about 1600 calories a day. I log massive numbers of exercise minutes per week because I am training for a tough mudder event. I met with a trainer this weekend and we took measurements. I have always had a love hate relationship with my scale..when it goes down Im happy...up and I binge...Im weighing myself once a month with the trainer and the rest of my progress will be gauged in fitness and hwo I feel and what I see...not a number...this is a big shift...especially since I joined here to "lose weight" and it wound up being a life change instead...thanks to all!
