I used to have panic attacks at night, before bed. I did some muscle relaxation, and listened to soothing music. Maybe that would work for you first thing in the morning, before getting out of bed. My therapist was the one who taught me the muscle relaxation technique.....
So first off, I've been dealing with an anxiety disorder for about 10 years. I'm accustomed to it. Normally I can handle it pretty well. I've got a therapist and some medicine and a good support system.
My problem lately is first thing in the morning. For the past week or so I've woken up to panic attacks. My mind is usually spinning about things I know I have no control over. For anyone else who deals with this, any ideas on how to handle that, especially first thing in the morning??
