most restaurant meals are about 1000 cals. it's the added fats combined with the larger portions. and by larger, i am talking at least two if not three portions of food come on the plate.

Those are for sure outrageous! I love that Chili's has their nutrition online though! They have really yummy low-cal options. I had their mango-chili-chicken under the "healthy" options and it was suggested with rice and broccoli, but I did a double serving of broccoli instead to get more veggies (and they WILL steam them and bring them without butter/oil if you ask!)

whatever you do don't eat the quesadilla explosion salad either - it has an astronomic # of calories! Salads at those restaurants can be just as caloric as the burgers.

Went to Chili's thought ok I had a salad for lunch thought I would treat myself could not believe how many calories were in the little triple dipper burger!!! Will investigate that before I go again emoticon
