Do you ever get sick of repeating the same info over and over again? It must get tiring, but I guess since you're helping so many people you must feel good from it too!

I definitely get way overheated with any amount of physical activity, but I've always been that way.

It takes time to lose weight. But remember the journey you just embarked on will be one you will be on the rest of your life. Healthy living trumps dieting every day. When you allow the time to integrate life-long healthy habits into your life, you will soon discover that you no longer will be on a diet roller coaster.

It will happen, but we should not allow the scale to be our one and only source for measuring our success.

It isn't uncommon to see a slight upward shift in weight when we start exercising, or add a new training regimen and eating better. For one the muscles are making more mitochondria which allow for extra glycogen-stored glucose in the cells- therefore, your body hangs on to more water to help with the cooling off process for exercise and for helping process energy. Your muscles will also have an increase in blood volume in order to have better availability to oxygen and removing waste, especially lactic acid. These things coupled with eating higher fiber foods, such as fruits and veggies can show a gain, when in all reality it is just a shift in fluids.

Hey don't feel bad just feel AWARE! That's what I have been telling myself cause being mean to me doesn't make me feel any better! We just gotta keep trucking and eventually we will look the way we want to!

Thanks! I just took my measurements (yikes) and I guess I'll do it again a month from today, which means I'm at least making a month long commitment from right now.

I just have to keep plugging away, huh?

OMG TRIX!!! I went through the SAME THING! I think what happens is your body is in shock. Let it sort everything out PLUS you are gaining muscle if you are doing the bootcamp! Do yourself this favor TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS and rely on them much more than your weight. YOU KNOW this is good for you and eventually your body WILL change. It has taken me a whole month and a half to finally see some weight loss and now I lose consistently. I take my measurements next week and I know I will see a bigger difference there! you are doing awesome! emoticon emoticon emoticon

If I keep excersizing every day and not eating horribly I'll get healthier right?

I'm doing the 28-Day Bootcamp, days I can't take my dog on a hike I go to the gym and starting Monday I'm going 3 times a week, and days I can't do either I do cardio videos. I haven't been eating nearly as badly as I used to and though I slipped up a couple of times this week I'm back on track today.

Why do I feel like this is getting me nowhere? Why do I still feel bloated and gross? I lost five pounds the first week but now I'm back up 2 pounds. Am I doing something wrong?
