emoticon My family challenged me to get in shape by training for a warrior dash last Christmas and I lost about 20 pounds getting ready using intermittent training (walk/jog) fueled mostly by fear that I couldn't do it and determination that he'd paid the entrance fee and I had to make good on that. Now my sister has invited me to a 100 mile bike-ride with several soon to be "50" friends (of which I am one) and I am here to see if I can get off the couch (I've gotten complacent) and onto a bike for the challenge. Any suggestions, words of wisdom or advice from anyone who has crash trained for a ride and who has previously had little to no recent experience on a bike?
