Alright. I was on Sparkpeople ages ago on an older account. With it, I went from being in the 190s to the 160s. I sorta toddled off into weight watchers land for a while and lost 15 lbs there. Then, due to numerous factors, I gained back into the 160s which is where I am now.
I've been casually trying to lose weight (and failing) for a few months now, but I got a zentai suit for my Wasp cosplay for New York Comic Con in october and tried it on. It fits, but I've got a prominent belly and I want to bring it down.
I decided to join sparkpeople again to keep myself honest about what I'm eating and how I'm living. I'm not too worried about my activity level -- I am training for a 5k, running 2-3 times a week for 20-30 minutes depending on how long my body holds up in the heat. I also take tae kwon do and am training in the dojang 3 times a week.
I'm confident that if I hold myself accountable for my eating I'll be able to lose the weight, and that is why I am back. Accountability.
