Thanks for the advice; sounds easier than trying to figure it out yourself.

go to www.allrecipes.com

When you are on the website, type in the search box what you are looking for example, chicken , pasta, salads etc

When you find a recipe you like , click on it.
On the recipe there is a little box that says "servings". Change the servings to 2 and it will recalculate the ingredients and the calories !!

One of my favorite websites !!

Why don't most websites give recipes for cooking for two?
We are retired and are looking for healthy recipes that don't feed a crowd. Why can't I find a website that cateres to the elderly?
With the onslaugtt of senior citizens, you'd think someone would spend some time coming up with easy recipes that offer nutrious menus for us folks. I cook every meal but run out of suggestions for options.
