I'm starting my cookies today with a tradition I've made since I was a little girl - candy cane cookies

So which types of cookies are you baking this week. I'll be baking a shortbread wreath for this weekend's entertaining. I put red and green sugar crystals in the thistle pattern so it looks Christmassy. And I usually also do snowballs, aka Russian teacakes or Mexican wedding cookies, or Hawaiian tea cake depending on which nut you use in the dough. Usually I do almonds, but this year I have pecans.

Started to bake some coockies and getting ready for christmas. Trying to do a little of baking every week so that I won't have so much to do all at once.
