I am starting to keep track of my food intake. I plan on doing that through the next 20 weeks. I will definitely create a spark page. I need all the support I can get. Thank you for the advice kelliebean

Hi there! That's a great idea to review your goals every day to keep yourself motivated.
Every few weeks, try changing your exercise routine to keep your body responding. Are you tracking everything you eat? All of it? It can be a real eye-opener!
You should create a Spark page so we can all get to know you, lend support and cheer you on!
Hi, My name is Ed. I am a very active person in my late 30's. I have always been active. Well not that was a lie. I became active in my late 20's. I have not looked back since. The only issue I have is that no matter how hard I work out, I cannot lose the weight I want to lose. I guess the reason I cannot lose the weight is my lack of concrete, distinct goal setting. That is changing. I am writing my goals down every day. In the morning I read my goal to myself and remind myself every time I reach for diet soda/bread/pizza. I am 220, which is the heaviest I have ever been. My goal is to lose 1.5 pounds per week for the next 20 weeks. That is five months away. I am focused but I guess I need support. The exercise part has never been a problem. The diet is the issue.
