I had French toast for breakfast - I didn't have syrup, just cinnamon in the mixture - it was good but a lot more carbs than I normally do - fortunately, my pre-breakfast blood sugar was LOW so that brought it up enough to stabilize it.

I confess that I bought a candy bar today - the GOOD news is I did not eat it. I bought some raspberries and ate them instead. Progress comes in MANY forms.

I feel bad about not going to the gym to workout. I told myself I would do a workout video in my dorm and didn't do it. I feel so guilty now I'm trying to dance around my room to burn the calories.

:( Been eating all the bad foods, skittls and cheese puffs. Even though I initially made the healthier option............the bad foods won out. I know why week wont be an issue

My confession is simple...I am craving all my trigger foods! When I give in to them, they are so yummy, but then the next day at the gym I am lethargic, hardly can complete my routines! AUGH! When am I going to learn?????

Confession 2 for the day. I had candy last night. ( really need to get rid of the kids halloween candy!) a couple little tootsie rolls, a fun size candy bar and 2 dum dum suckers while i was doing paperwork.
Sometimes my willpower just isnt enough to keep me away from the candy!!!

Confession was used in Jewish practices and the Church as a way to heal and be restored back to God. The fruit of God's Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and self control. There is no law against these qualities. These qualities bring more enjoyment to life and living and can set you free from the things that hinder and hurt you. I suppose the quality we all could use regarding eating is self control, eh? emoticon

I've been on an ice cream kick lately and I really need to curb it. The carbs make me crave carbs and I go get more ice cream.

Back to Greek yogurt and frozen blueberries! Much cheaper (I buy that Arctic Zero ice cream at 150 calories per pint ... it is really expensive!) and much better for my health!

My confession today is:It is 7am and I am already trying to make excuses of why I shouldn't do a workout today! I am sore from yesterday but that isn't unusual when upping my routine a few minutes, its a good hurt!

That happens to me a lot, too. I'll use retainers or gum or whitening strips after I reach my max next time... and I'll just tell people that I already ate or something.

*sigh* was having a good day food wise then the family picked up chinese and that just threw my day right off course, so now I'm 200 calories over. upsetting

Today was the "alleged" monthly food day that is to celebrate all co-worker birthdays and service anniversaries. So why is it that on the actual day, people STILL bring in junk food. Seems to defeat the purpose.

So I ALWAYS struggle on "food day." Even though I brought a healthy alternative and today's table was ALMOST 50/50 between healthy foods and junk, I ate too many sweets. I did them, but still too much.

Maybe I need to go back to just not participating ... in both the bringing and the eating!!!

My childrens halloween candy calls to me.. Only at night, only the chocolate. Sometimes I answer the call, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I log it, sometimes I don't.

They say confession is good for the soul(and hopefully motivation!)
So here is my idea. "confess" something you are feeling bad about. Skipping a workout, too much dessert stuff like that. SO here goes!

My confession today is: I cant seem to stop nibbling tootsie rolls!
