Since reading Pam Young and Peggy Jones' book "From Pig Pen to Paradise" in 1983, I've worked on being organized. "Confessions of an Organized Housewife" is another good book by Denise Schofield.

Do you ever compartmentalize time? I sure do! When there are too many things on my "to-do" list; when life feels overwhelming, it somehow makes life more doable to section off various tasks into isolated compartments.

Even though this system can overlap somewhat, it still gives me more of a sense of order and manageability.

I am making a "Compartment" now for the stuff of SparkPeople, and my goals for nutrition and fitness. I am examining those various components at present which will slide as files in my Compartment or Folder.

This Compartment/Folder lives apart from work and play, family and friends, etc.

I never thought of myself so computerized in my methodology of life, but more of an artistic being that just flowed with life as life happened. So much busy-ness has forced compromise - hence Compartments of Living.

What works for you as you fit all of life into a 24-hour daily period of time? Do you also "Compartmentalize?"
