My skin often stays cold throughout a very strenuous workout. Sometimes only my forehead is hot. I have no idea why this is but I don't worry about it. Even when I am concentrating on working my abs specifically, the skin doesn't heat up. I still have excellent results from my exercise program so I am SURE that it makes no difference!
This happens to me when I do cardio. If I do straight strength then no but the skin on my stomach always feels cool/cold to the touch when I'm overheating everywhere else.

While I have not heard of this before, it could be that when you are working out your blood is being diverted to the working muscles, therefore leaving your tummy on the cool side. Just a hunch, but you may wanna pass it by your doc the next time you see him/her.
Weird question but I've noticed that no matter what exercise I do (cardio, strength, yoga, etc) my stomache is always cold to the touch or just "normal" temperature. Clothing doesn't make a difference, only bra/with tank it's the same. I will be cherry red everywhere but my stomache is just off in its own world temp wise. Is this normal? Excuse me as I'm new to fitness and do you think one of those abdominal belts woud be beneficial for me?
