That's great, ADDYW1! I'm so glad you kept those clothes! I find that's a much better way to measure progress than the scale. GREAT JOB and continued success to you!

That is so wonderful! Sounds like you have made such great progress!!! I too had a similar experience just yesterday with a dreaded pair of jeans that I had bought years ago and they must have been mislabled or something because they were my "size" but when I got them home they were so small I couldn't get them over my thighs. Well, as of yesterday they went on and even zipped! Mind you, they were still too tight to wear in public, but they are almost there!!! Isn't that the most wonderful sense of pride, being able to put something on that you haven't worn in ages (or in my case ever) ? You are doing so great! Keep up the effort and the great work!!!

ADDYW1, Sparkpeople is a Goldilocks experience! First, your clothes are too tight. Next, your clothes fit just right. Finally, your clothes are too big! I went "shopping" in my own closet for the past year. Now I have to actually go shopping for real, 'cuz everything is way too big.
Congratulations to you. This trip may be difficult, but it's also eye-popping, head turning fun!
So I have a box of so called "skinny clothes" that I stuffed in the closet about a year and a half ago after realizing I couldn't fit in any of them any more! This morning I decided to open that dreadful box (similar to Pandora's box) and try a shirt on from it. Expecting to be disappointed I put it on and to my surprise it actually fit!!! I've lost about 36 pounds since starting this journey and although that's alot of weight I have a long way to go. I was thinking that the shirt still wouldn't fit me but boy was I wrong!! I was shocked, surprised and gosh darn happy as a pig in....you know what!! I can't express the sense of pride that came over me it was a WONDERFUL way to start my Friday!! So all those sweaty workouts and meal planning really have paid off thus far!!
To all of you dedicated sparkers out there...stay in the game!! I know it's frustrating at times and that there are crazy bumps in the road but YOU CAN DO IT!!! Trust me if I've made it this far then anyone can :) It hasn't been easy by any means but boy those baby steps really add up to something special in the end! That's all for now! Keep on sparking!!!!!
