That's so awesome! You look great in your profile picture! emoticon

I remember calling my friend from a dressing room at the mall while sobbing because I fit into a size 10 for the first time since junior high! What an amazing feeling! Thanks for reminding me about the good parts of the journey. I needed that today. : )

I feel like shopping for clothes is the ultimate eye opener demonstrating how far we've come! I just went on a spree last week since I met goal and I bought sizes I've never bought before. Seems like all the tags are typos, but I guess after it happens at multiple stores you start to realize it must be true! :)

It's so fun watching your size drop! I went from a 16 to 14 to 12 to 10 now 8's and crazy enough, I had to swap a bridesmaid dress (that i bought in a 12) for a 6. The sales lady said the 8 was too big. Before you know it, you'll be fitting into your 14's and you'll need some 12's for back up. :)

That is such a great feeling! Good for you! Keep making healthy choices and you'll get to the size 14 in no time!

Last summer I was trying on pants in a store and the girl said I needed a medium and I said I don't wear medium and she said... well the large is too big. I love telling this story.

Doesn't it feel amazing?

I have gone from 228 pounds, size 22 the first of the year to, currently 185, size 16. I still have weight to lose, so I have not wanted to buy many clothes. I have been getting by with some size 20's that had a small enough elastic waist so they would not fall off. I have been dressing very "baggy." A few weeks ago, one of my daughters brought me a couple of pairs of 16 jeans and encouraged me to wear them. I got so many compliments on my weight loss.
I had a chance to go by a consignment store this week and I picked up three pair of size 16 slacks and 3 large tops (no longer XL or 2X). I wore a correct sized outfit to church this morning and everyone was telling me how great I look. Wow, what a boost. I have a pair of 14's that I can put on, but they are tight. I got them to gauge my next size drop.
I will be going back to the consignment store to put my larger clothes up for sale. Hopefully, I can earn enough store credit to get those 14s soon.
