While climbing stairs is a pretty intense activity in terms of calories per minute, most people spend less than 5 minutes even climbing several flights of stairs, so the total is not normally all that large.

I climb the stairs at work every day, but I cannot find it to list in my exercises tracker. I can add it myself, but how do I know how many calories I burn? Also, do I need to know the number of stairs I climb? Any help will be appreciated.
