The Hobbit is high on my list of things to see. Although, have you been reading any of the news reports ? Some people who saw the preview were complaining of feeling nauseous or dizzy. Peter Jackson filmed in very high speed that might make some people sick if they watch.
I know that I felt a little sea sick when I went to see Avatar in 3D.
I AM PSYCHED to see Hobbit, but..I'm waiting until the extended version comes on DVD to watch it. I don't see the frugality in paying $10+ when a DVD that can be viewed repeatedly is so much more cost-effective.

My 17 year old son is watching all the "Lord of the Rings" movies to prepare for the "Hobbit" all his friends are going.
Personally I look forward to "LES MISERABLES", I watched the older version with Liam Nieeson, and I'm listening to the broadway soundtrack. (music)
Recently we saw "Sky Fall" and didn't like it. Just they story line, the actors were great.
"Flight" was amazing.
"Anna Karenina" was fantastic--amazed it isn't showing in more theaters.
"Silver Lining" wonderful film.
Love going to the movies, with teenage children it is one family activity we still do together.
Today is the day I succeed.

we want to see Skyfall in the theater. We usually wait until movies hit DVD or cable, but some just have to be seen on the big screen.

We've got opening night midnight showing tickets to The Hobbit. It's our son's Christmas present to us (and him, I think he's going too.)
