I roasted a duck. It was good but duck is an acquired taste so my kids didn't like it too much and my husband didn't even try it because it's mostly brown meat and he likes white meat ONLY.
So I ended up eating some duck and brown rice with quinoa and steamed veggies.

We had mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and roast beef. We had cheesecake for dessert, which I thought would kill my diet, but surprisingly taking a small portion from one of Sara Lee's frozen cheesecakes isn't half bad!

We had Pork Tenterloin, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, carrots and green beans. It was wonderful, I ate proper portions and did not feel stuffed.

Shrimp Creole with brown rice
If you go by the way side on an eating bing, just get up and start again. I always say I will be on a diet for the rest of my life because I love food. But since Spark People I can eat the right foods and not get out of control. Keep up the good work no matter what people say about you. Love yourself. Do it for yourself and no one else. This keep me going.

I had a big roast dinner at about 5pm It included some ham, turkey and lamb, with roasted vegetables (onion, carrot, sweet potato with the skin on, pumpkin with the skin on) and steamed vegetables (peas, broccoli and cauliflower). And no dessert :)
I had a late mid-morning breakfast of a healthy bowl of porridge and no snacks in-between, so the whole day's eating wasn't too indulgent :)
