Pretty much any exercise will get me out of a funk. Running and weight lifting are the two things I do most and frankly nothing beats pounding out your troubles on the road or moving heavy objects around. I also fence when work permits and, not to put too fine a point on it, stabbing people is a great stress reliever :D

I run. I'm very sensitive to yoga. A good class is very good, but a bad class can send me into a day long funk. When I was pregnant, a bad yoga class caused me to spend the rest of the day in tears.
When you're in a bad space emotionally what do you do "fitness wise" to get outta the funk? For me Yoga works MIRACLES!! I am new to Yoga but I have about 20 Beginner DVD's and each time I do it I am literally amazed at how I feel afterwards. I have migraines from time to time so one day when I felt one coming on I popped in a Yoga DVD and at the end of just a 45 minute session my headache was gone and my body was sooooo relaxed!!! My mind was clear and I felt so mellow! I love it! I see becoming a Yogi in my future...lol!
