Been there. 590 calories and 22 grams of fat in a Panera pumpkin muffin. Panera has the calories listed on the menu for salads and sandwiches, but not baked goods.

Yeah been there. The ones that shock me most are BBQ restaurants... I think to myself well this chicken or pork is a fairly lean protein and low cal per oz, but then I look after and see 1200 calories for a meal? 100 carbs for a meal? How DO they pack that in... it's an art form (an evil one).

When I go to the coffee shop with a freiend we usually split even a cookie, that way we don't get all the calories and fat--and sodium. We don't get a treat all the time tho.
Since I don't do those things very often, I will savor my treat and enjoy it. I go to Starbucks once or twice a year.

Sometimes I do that on purpose. I will really want something, so I will wait until after to track it. I still hold myself accountable in the end.

I got a Skinny Latte at Starbucks. I was overtaken by the pumpkin scone. However I didn't look up the nutrition info first. If I would have, I would not have eaten it. Ignorance is not bliss! When it doubt check it out :)
