I did something similar. I rewarded myself with a Brighton bracelet when I reached 25,000 Spark points. I spelled out SPARK and then used pretty spacers between the letters
and added an apple and a running shoe to remind me of the importance of healthy eating and exercise. It was a great motivator!

Terrific idea! I made a "thermometer" for myself showing how many more pounds until I get my 100 lb lost treat - a trip to DisneyWorld - but I think I'm going to incorporate your idea too!

I'm always looking for an excuse for my husband to buy me jewelry. He bought me a nice amethyst set when I lost 30 pounds. I never thought of doing something small like this. Great idea. Thanks!

I know others may have already heard of this, but I thought I'd post the idea again in case anyone else thought it was fun!

I love motivational tools and I am a visual person, so this really appealed to me. You get yourself a charm bracelet, and then for every 10 pounds you lose you can get a new charm to add! Since I've lost 20 pounds I have a bracelet with two charms. One is an egg with a chick inside (I want to get pregnant this year - that's actually the primary reason I want to lose weight, is so I can have a healthy pregnancy). The other is a pretty rainbow bead, so I'll alternate charms and beads. I'll have 6 charms and 6 beads by the time I reach my goal, which is losing 120 pounds. 20 down, 100 to go!

I got mine at Brighton (much less expensive than Pandora) and in addition to it being a pretty reminder of how far I come, it will also be a reminder of the things that are important to me and my reasons for losing weight.

I am getting one charm that's a cupcake, as a reminder to myself that I am NOT "on a diet" and that a healthy lifestyle change means I can still indulge in sweets if I want to. Another bead is a suitcase with city names inscribed on it as a reminder that I want to be healthy to travel. And another is a bathing suit as a reminder to always have fun. Another is a camera, which reminds me of my partner. And the last one is a crown, which will be my final charm (most expensive!) that represents reaching my final goal. This makes it fun and exciting to earn each charm.

Just thought it was a cute idea and wanted to share :) It's helping me with my motivation! Maybe you can think of something incremental to help with yours, too!
