Sparkpeople has great tools for nutrition and fitness, as well as a very supportive community.
Since you share that this is a very stressful time, I encourage you to be working closely with your mental health professional as well.

For those things that you cannot control, the only part of it that you CAN control is your attitude. Sounds like you've got a good one!!

Baby steps, one thing at a time. If you have many changes to make, can you turn them into short-, medium- and long-term goals? That might be a workable plan. And doing it that way, maybe it wouldn't feel so overwhelming?

Hang in there! You've found a website that has TONS of support there for you, if you know where to go!!!

I have been diagnosed with a mental illness and life is very stressful right now. I need to change so many things in my life it is overwhelming. A lot of those things I have no control over. But one thing I can control is what I eat. So I have been trying really hard to watch what I eat. I have also been trying to stay loyal to tracking my food. That has been a Huge help. I never thought to much about what I was eating. But tracking it makes you process everything you eat. I am a mother of 3 and am trying very hard to cope with life. I have never been a member of a forum but I feel the need to have extra support. I hope SP has what I need.
