I think it's someone, once again, profitting off sharing common sense. "Eat whole foods: real meats, veggies, fruits, healthy fats, nuts, seeds. Exercise/ Be active/ Move more. Watch portion sizes" At the same time, it adds in the concept of resistant starches in small amounts which I think is good to learn about.

I assume you are wanting to learn how to include carbohydate containing foods in your diet in a healthy way. This book will give you just that.

I've never heard of it, but I did a quick google and found this review:

www.webmd.com/diet/features/carb-lovers-di
et-review

The one negative thing it had to say about it was this:

"Giancoli applauds the flexibility and basic plan. But she cautions the 1,200-calorie phase one-week detox plan may be too restrictive.

'Skip the first phase and jump right into the 1,600-calorie phase, because the promised six-pound weight loss is mostly fluids and lean tissue, which you donít want to lose,' Giancoli says."

I would agree, based on that; detoxes don't work anyway.

Sounds like this is a pretty sound plan, although it's pretty much what SP already teaches. It also sounds pretty much exactly like the Spark Solution, just without the catchy buzz words about carbs.

It's also unfortunate that it appears to be associated with Dr. Oz... that's not a good endorsement, although I guess even a broken clock reads the right time twice a day. emoticon

Wanted to know if you've tried or are following this diet plan. If so, what are your thoughts about it? Do you like it?

TIA,
Nicole
