If you live in the States, go to Amazon.com grocery. Do a search on 'sweet potatoes' and then do a search on 'yams.'

Ok, thanks :) good idea. I haven't thought about looking at organic ones yet.

Thank you!

every brand I have checked at the store has added syrup. I don't know if you check in the organic section if they would be plain or not.

You can also drain them and rinse them off as well. that would get rid of a lot of it I would think? Maybe?

Hi,
So I'm wanting to add sweet potatoes to my diet a few days a week but they're prettey expensive right now. I thought about getting canned yams or sweet potatoes but they have added sugar in a syrup. So my question is, do you know of any brand of canned or frozen yams or sweet potatoes that aren't in a syrup?

Thank you for any advice!
HH
