Hello and Welcome to Sparks!

Although each person has different goals, you're in great company here. The amount of support and community at Sparks is unlike any other website. (Trust me, I've tried them all!) emoticon

If there is any way that I can help you along your journey, just let me know! I'm always here for friends in need.

Today is the day... I hope! I am sick of being fat, sluggish, and stressed. Newly divorced, raising four kids along with having an executive level job. Hard for me to think of myself as fat because I had been thin and in shape most of my life. I get startled when I catch a glimpse of my reflection or can't fit into clothes in the "misses" section. I am so unbelievably tired! I want to run away to an island for a month to rest and recuperate after a tragic divorce with no family to help me with the kids and my former husband lives far away. He is moving near us in a few weeks which will be wonderful. I can't go on much longer doing it all myself. Youngest is four years old. Oldest is 12. My two middle sons are impacted by varying degrees of Autism. I need to lose weight and get healthy. I need more energy and activities that will help me cope with the weight of stress in my life. emoticon
