Don't worry !! You're doing just fine ! Remember, you're trying to change habits learned over a lifetime. That won't happen overnight, a week, a month or even a year. Change takes time. thus the need to be patient with yourself and your body.
Think of it this way, if you eat right five out of seven days this week, you're still doing much better than the average American. As the old song goes,"accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative". Give yourself credit for the positive things you do for yourself and try not to beat yourself up over something negative. We all have negatives. It happens.
You're doing great !

You did not undo all your hard work. What is done is done. However, you may want to take time to journal about what happened yesterday to send you to the store in search of not so healthy stuff...Were you bored, lonely, angry, tired or feeling as though you have deprived yourself for so long without a bite here and there, you caved?
Remember you can choose to make healthy choices at any time. You do no have to wait until tomorrow, the first of the week, the first of the month, etc...you can start right this minute.
I've been doing SO great with everything - working out, eating right, staying on top of things - until yesterday. Yesterday was just not a good day. I was craving sugar and I drove to the store and bought a cinnamon roll and a reeces peanut butter egg. After eating that, I decided the day was ruined, so later I went out to eat and overindulged again.
Today I vowed to get back on track.
But when I overeat, the next day I feel hungry all day - like my stomach grew or something. I've already ate about half of my calories for the day and I'm still feeling really hungry and tempted to cheat again.
PLEASE, I need a pep talk. This is how I always fall off the wagon - and this time I'm going seven weeks strong.
