Maybe it's the cardio classes? I can't sleep after doing certain types of cardio. Like if I run after 6:30 I can't sleep, but I used to practice taekwon do from 7-9:30 and would be dead asleep at 10:30.

It's possible that you're not doing a good enough cool down after your workouts. If your heart rate is still increased because of the workout before you go to bed, that would cause you sleeping problems. You should try to find a way to decrease your heart rate i.e. wind down and relax after your workout.
What type of yoga are you doing ? In theory, the yoga class should help you relax and be able to sleep. Of course, if you're doing Bikram or Power Yoga, those could keep your heart rate elevated after the workout.
Try reading and having a cup of tea when you get home to help you relax after the workout. You should try to make sure your heart rate is at a normal level so that you can sleep.
If you find that doesn't help, then you may have to change your workout times to earlier in the day.
I don't know. Evening workouts don't work for everyone. I have no trouble sleeping after an hourlong cardio workout, but I have heard that a lot of people get too keyed up. Early morning workouts don't work for me, but maybe that will be a better fit for you? I guess you could also look at your evening nutrition to see if there's something you could be doing differently. Have you tried reading before bed?

I have had the same problem. Try adding some strength training and see if that helps.
I started exercising a couple of weeks ago. I go to the gym 3 times a week, tuesdays, thursdays and saturdays. During the week I have to go after work and after fixing dinner for the family. I dont eat before the workout. On tuesdays I do a one hour class of cardio and one hour of yoga which I enjoy very much, the problem is that I can't sleep even though I'm exhausted. I get back from the gym at 8pm and to bed around 10:30 so I have a couple of hours to wind down. What should I do different? I can't exercise before work because I have to be at the office at 7am and work until 5. On thursdays I do 45 minutes on the treadmill and elliptical but I do not have a problem going to sleep. I would think that the yoga helps me relax and unwind but its not working. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
