You can still save it, just don't check the box to "Submit My Recipe to SparkPeople's Shared Recipes Database." As long as you don't check that box, it will only be listed in your recipe box and that is okay.

I put in all the ingredients and was planning to save a website recipe, got down to the agreement that you didn't copy the recipe from somewhere else ...

So I can't figure out the nutritional information for a recipe and then save it to my cookbook, and NOT publish it on SP? If so, what a waste!

Isn't the web, magazines, etc the place most of us get our recipes?
