You burn calories through MOVEMENT, not sweating. While your body may sweat more trying to get rid of excess heat in warmer weather, you aren't moving any more, so you don't burn any more calories.
About the only time temperature makes a difference is when you are cold enough to start shivering (which is the body trying to generate more heat through involuntary muscle movement).

Do you burn more calories running in hot weather or running in cold weather, or about the same? I mean of course there is no differentiation on the fitness tracker, I'm just a little curious since its getting to be summer weather and BOY it is a lot harder to run in the heat!
